Separate the treatment zones
| Consideration | What to discuss |
|---|---|
| Food preparation | Compatible products, pre-cleaning and rinse requirements. |
| Service & reception | Touch points, counters and customer access. |
| Staff & washrooms | Separate hygiene priorities and cleaning arrangements. |
| Storage & equipment | Stock protection and equipment-care instructions. |
Protect food before work begins
Remove or protect food, utensils, packaging and exposed ingredients before releasing the zone. A product for general building surfaces is not automatically appropriate for food contact. Follow product instructions and the operator’s food-safety requirements.
Grease and food residues need an agreed cleaning process. Disinfection must not disguise incomplete cleaning. Specify whether site staff or a separate team will prepare surfaces.
Make the plan specific to your property.
Share the surfaces, access and circumstances so the right scope can be discussed.
Discuss restaurant disinfectionA controlled reopening
- Confirm closed zones, removed stock and equipment restrictions.
- Check product use against surfaces and site requirements.
- Treat the agreed areas without exposing customers or food.
- Confirm rinsing, drying, ventilation and release checks.
Keep responsibilities visible
The responsible manager should review the scope before booking and handover before operations resume. Request the product details and records your procedures need.
This is not an inspection approval, pest-control programme or regulatory-compliance guarantee. Specialist food-safety requirements must be agreed and verified separately.
