Equipment does not determine the claim
A ULV device atomizes liquid, but does not make every liquid a suitable fogging disinfectant. Instructions must support the intended application and environment. The method needs to meet the objective rather than simply produce visible mist.
Assessment considers occupancy, ventilation, materials, sensitive equipment and access controls. An office full of electronics or an occupied home may have limitations that change the proposed approach.
Questions before considering ULV
- Does the product explicitly support this application method?
- Can access be restricted as required?
- Which materials and devices need protection or exclusion?
- How will application and contact-time directions be met?
- What ventilation and re-entry requirements apply?
Make the plan specific to your property.
Share the surfaces, access and circumstances so the right scope can be discussed.
Discuss ulv fogging assessmentFogging does not replace surface work
Soil and residues still need attention, and high-touch surfaces may need a targeted approach. Droplets reaching a space do not demonstrate that every surface received the required application.
ULV is not an air-quality investigation, mold-remediation process or universal response to odors. An underlying source may need a different assessment.
