What changes, and what does not
Electrostatic application changes droplet delivery. It does not remove pre-cleaning, product-selection or contact-time requirements. A demonstration or visible spray does not establish an outcome for every surface.
Claims about wrapping around every object must not replace assessment. Geometry, settings, technique and product influence the work. Sensitive equipment cannot be assumed compatible because a spray is electrostatic.
The suitability check
| Consideration | What to discuss |
|---|---|
| Product | Do directions support electrostatic application for this use? |
| Environment | Can access and occupancy be controlled? |
| Materials | What is compatible, protected or excluded? |
| Application | How are rate, distance and wet contact time met? |
Make the plan specific to your property.
Share the surfaces, access and circumstances so the right scope can be discussed.
Discuss electrostatic applicationWhen another approach is clearer
Manual application gives deliberate attention to defined touch points. If product directions do not support electrostatic use, consider another supported method. Explain the choice rather than making technology the selling point.
Commercial clients should include policies and document requirements. Food-service and clinical environments need particular review; equipment descriptions do not verify suitability.
Agree the return to use
- Request ventilation and exclusion instructions.
- Confirm drying or rinse requirements.
- Record inaccessible items.
- Make sure the responsible person receives handover before reopening.
